The oldest planned Buckhead neighborhood
Off the bustling Peachtree Road, Peachtree Heights East was the first planned community in sought-after Buckhead. Surrounding Duck Pond Park, the neighborhood is filled with large old-growth trees and greenery that offer a reprieve from the bustling city less than 10 miles away. A small enclave of around just 600 homes, Peachtree Heights East, has multiple community groups, including the Lady of the Lakes, a women’s club, and various events throughout the year. “It is a wonderful little community,” says Sara Ohmer, a Realtor with Harry Norman Realtors and a long-time resident of Peachtree Heights East. “It is a very quiet neighborhood because it's between Garden Hills and Peachtree Hills, so we don’t get much traffic. Since you’re only a block off Peachtree, you can access all kinds of dining, shopping and groceries.”
