Cary Woods’ forested streets provide both privacy and a picturesque setting for its midcentury-era homes. But for families, the area’s recreation options and highly rated schools are just as much of a draw. “It’s a beautiful area,” says Lori Fuller, Realtor with eXp Realty Southern Branch. “There are a lot of older homes that have been renovated that are gorgeous. A lot of professors or faculty from the university live here.”

Varying price points and renovation status
Tall pine trees line the streets of Cary Woods, shading the neighborhood’s narrow streets and large suburban lots. Built as early as the 1960s or as recently as the 2010s, homes vary in style, with ranch, farmhouse and split-level builds most common. “There’s a wide variety of price points,” Fuller says. “Some of them have really beautiful acre lots, and there are some that are less nice that developers are waiting to try to buy.” Homes sell between the $500,000s and mid-$700,000s, as more recent builds or renovations tend to hover near the top of the range.
