An established neighborhood near downtown Auburn
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Auburn, Mckinley Heights pairs midcentury-era homes with easy routes throughout the city. “It’s a bit of an older neighborhood with a lot of rentals,” says Richard Coffin, the broker, operating partner and cofounder of The Key Agency. Because the neighborhood is inside the loop of University Drive that runs around the city, Mckinley Heights residents can walk or bike to Auburn University and other employers downtown. “It’s inside the circle, which means it’s convenient to just about everything in the middle of town,” Coffin says. With a highly-rated school system on top of the area’s ease of transportation, young families often rent in Mckinley Heights.
