A taste of rural Aurora
Centretech is a marriage of Aurora's agricultural and military history. Nestled against the Buckley Space Force Base—one of the city's largest employers—Centretech provides residents views of the city's last remaining farmland. The neighborhood's ample walking trails and proximity allow for a life of convenience paired with the community’s know-your-neighbors mentality. “It is a very friendly community where people recognize and wave to one another,” explains Kristin Handsom, who works and lives in the neighborhood.

The residential pockets of Centretech
Most residential streets are found in the southeast and northwest corners of the community, where neat sidewalks and front yards are found, thanks to the presence of homeowners associations. The housing options in the neighborhoods are half condominiums and townhouses, with standalone homes making up the remainder. These condos and townhomes were originally constructed in the early 1980s and range from $170,000 for a one-bedroom condo to $350,000 for a larger three-bedroom. The ranch and traditional-style houses of the community were constructed in the early 2000s and onwards and sit relatively close to one another. Most feature stonework within the exteriors and can range from $430,000 for a three-bedroom home to $540,000 for a larger house built in the 2020s
