21st-century homes and manicured lawns

Most of the neighborhood's homes were built in 2004 or later. Craftsman and modern traditional architecture are common, with tidy front lawns and fenced-in back yards. Additionally, most homes have wide driveways leading to two-car garages. “A lot of buyers like Tollgate Crossing because it’s a great alternative to the million-dollar homes farther down Smoky Hill Road,” says Heather Henry, a local broker associate with EXIT Realty DTC. Single-family homes range from the low $500,000s to the low $800,000s, while townhomes are typically in the $400,000s.

The Tollgate Crossing Community Center has a clubhouse and an outdoor pool. The association organizes a variety of events throughout the year, including:

  • Movie showings in the park
  • Food truck visits
  • Holiday celebrations at the clubhouse
