Mediterranean ranch homes with attached garages and driveways, some with brick facades and fenced-in yards, range from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet in size and around $350,000 to $450,000 in price. Larger, 2,500- to 3,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style homes with manicured, palm-tree-laden lawns and multicar garages and driveways typically cost between $500,000 and about $675,000.

Neighborhood trails and a golf course
The residential subdivisions in town—including the gated Northwoods—have sidewalks that lead to paved walking trails, often encircling a small lake or pond. These paths also offer green space where dogs can play fetch or families can play catch. In the southern part of the area is Riverlakes Ranch Golf Course, a public 18-hole fairway that doubles as a wedding and event venue.
