Single-family home prices range from $500,000 to $850,000. "It's a little bit higher-end, so to speak," Advani says. "People will pay for the amount of space and the views there."This area receives a CAP Index Crime Score of 1 out of 10, compared with the national average of 4. Tuscany residents can drive farther into Bakersfield for more dining options. About 5 miles west, El Patron serves margaritas and Mexican dishes in an unassuming space with traditional decor. Rosa's is a family-owned Italian restaurant with murals, floral decorations and a vintage atmosphere. Niles Street has retailers as well as grocery stores, such as Foodmaxx and Vallarta Supermarket. "You're not very central, but it's an easy hop on the freeway, and it doesn't have a lot of traffic," Advani says. "You're looking at around a 5-to 10-minute drive to basic stores."
