A balance of new and older homes just outside of Baltimore
Beechfield, less than 7 miles west of downtown Baltimore, is a densely packed area close to major roads. Townhouses make up most of the neighborhood, and small green spaces and trees contrast with the red brick of the homes. The historic Baltimore National Cemetery, which takes up 72 acres, is the final resting place for more than 45,000 veterans. Fredrick Avenue leads to Interstate 395 and neighboring communities, so everything is just a short drive from most homes. “Historic neighborhoods around Baltimore like Beechfield offer both older homes and modern amenities. Buyers get the best of both worlds,” says Charlotte Eyring, a Realtor with Compass who has been an area agent for over 10 years.
Newly built townhome communities are also available in Beechfield.
The two-story modern townhomes feature ample parking in Beechfield.

I-695 and Baltimore roads
Fredrick Avenue is the main road for many residents, connecting to major highways like Interstate 695 and U.S. Route 40, as well as the larger shopping and dining hubs on Baltimore’s western end. “Beechfield is a reasonable, if not short, commute to downtown Baltimore. Buyers coming from outside Baltimore appreciate that,” Eyring says. Pedestrians also have plenty of space to walk around, and dog walking is also common. The Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is less than 8 miles to the south, and Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital is just over 2 miles away.
M&T Bank Stadium is not far from Beechfield.

Rowhouses, townhouses and American Foursquares
Red brick row houses built in the mid-1900s make up most of the housing market here, along with some newer townhomes built in the 2010s. Single-family housing options in the neighborhood are mostly American Foursquare designs. The community offers plenty of street parking options for residents, and many houses also have alleyways behind them, creating fenced-in backyards and additional parking spaces. Townhouse prices can range from $100,000 to $300,000, and single-family homes often fall between $300,000 and $400,000.
The neighborhood of Beechfield is very walkable, with sidewalks lining almost on every street.

Orioles games and culture festivals
At the end of March, Opening Day at Camden Yards, attracts a crowd as the Orioles start their season. In summer, residents can head to the free AFRAM festival, where musicians, artisans and food vendors come together to help celebrate Baltimore’s African American heritage. During the colder months, the inner harbor transforms into a Christmas market modeled after those in Germany, with hot drinks, twinkling lights and plenty of gifts.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I'm going to go with it's okay because I'm only 18 so I can't elaborate on all of these businesses in my area. Everything seems to be pretty good though.
