Living in the heart of Baltimore
This buzzing commercial and business center makes up the quintessential Baltimore city skyline with its towering skyscrapers and glass-sided office buildings. With a lively nightlife and a vast array of restaurants, retail, and entertainment options, residents are steps away from all the amenities of the city. “You get all the modern amenities and you’re right within walking distance to bars, restaurants, boutique shops, luxury retail and parks- not to mention the access to the waterfront and Inner Harbor,” says Realtor and president of the Breeden Group, Robert Breeden, who has seven years of experience selling in the greater Baltimore area. This historically rich metropolitan neighborhood features sparkling harbor views along the famous Baltimore Waterfront Promenade.

Streets lined with historic row houses
Within a grid of busy streets, residents' front doors open right into the heart of Baltimore. Historic row houses line the streets, featuring contrasting splashes of color against brick exteriors. Though most residences only provide street parking, some Federalist-style townhouses in the eastern portion of the neighborhood feature carports and one-car garages. While some homes have compact front patios, many also include private courtyards with space for benches, plants, and ornamental outdoor décor. Homes with three bedrooms or more tend to sell from $300,000 to $400,000, with the average sale price being $350,000. Houses with less than three bedrooms range from $200,000 to $250,000, with the average sale price hovering around $225,000. “You get more bang for your buck in relation to other metropolitan cities,” says Breeden. “The home prices are half of what you’d pay for a house in DC.” Additonally, buyers can choose from one- and two-bedroom condos and apartments featuring balconies, state-of-the-art appliances and amenities including fitness centers, pools and designated parking.
