While this area doesn't feature too many trees, the design does ensure that homes are plotted away from the curb, featuring short sidewalks or stairways leading up to each entrance. Most of the trees are located between Pentwood Road and Morgan View, one of the student housing complexes, creating a natural barrier. “There’s a lot of renovation going on in and around the neighborhood,” says Breeden. “It’s adding in modern updates to the homes.” For homes that need interior renovations -- mainly to modernize the rowhome with newer appliances -- prices range from $130,000 to $170,000. A home that has already been renovated or doesn't need to be can range from $210,000 to $295,000. “Prices are more comparable in and around the Baltimore metro neighborhoods,” says Breeden. “And you get a nice yard with it.” The neighborhood has a one-way street and very few garages, leading most people to park along the road in front of their homes.School of choice leading to construction courses
