Homes tucked into the foothills

Homes here start around $850,000 and reach $2 million, and range in style, from mid-century modern ranch styles to Mediterranean-inspired estates. The streetscapes are often thick with trees, and lawns tend to be well-kept, and some acre-sized lots are available the closer the home is to the hills. Some of the neighborhood’s roads wind and curve up steep-for-the-suburbs hills and end in secluded cul-de-sacs. These private spots provide sweeping views of almost all of Novato and beyond. Condos and townhomes are usually clustered together, usually near the highway, and go for between $450,000 and $700,000.
