Bel-Ridge is an urban/suburban neighborhood of about 3,000 residents located 12 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis. While first-time visitors might see an older neighborhood with homes in need of repair, what one does not see right away, are its many assets. First, there are three parks in the neighborhood and more than eight more within a mile radius. Second, two golf courses, the St. Louis Zoo and the Missouri Botanical Gardens are only a 10-mile drive away. Endicott Park is a St. Louis County park and offers a playground, a picnic shelter, a disc golf course, walking trails and athletic fields.
