The cove offers historic Colonials and custom-built estates
Homes in Beverly Cove reflect the neighborhood’s coastal setting. Historic Colonials date to the early 1700s, and many properties maintain their original charm with wood-burning fireplaces, cobblestone driveways and exposed brick walls that are now complemented by modern amenities. Homebuyers will also find Colonial Revivals, Cape Cod and ranch-style homes built throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Manicured lawns average a quarter-acre, while custom-built estates offer larger lots with up to several acres of land. Home prices typically range from $675,000 for smaller Cape Cod-style houses to $1.4 million for larger Colonial Revivals. Custom-built properties are more expensive, selling for $1.1 million to $2.4 million. There’s also a colonial-style townhouse development with units selling for $430,000 to $480,000. Beverly Cove is considered a desirable location, and homes tend to sell after less than two weeks on the market.Public beaches and summer concerts at David S. Lynch Memorial Park
Lush green spaces and public beaches line the coast. Dane Street Beach features a sandy beachfront, public bath houses and a playground. A bit further east is David S. Lynch Memorial Park, which is affectionally called the “Crown Jewel of Beverly.” With two beaches, a splash pad and a vibrant rose garden, the park offers abundant opportunities for active and passive recreation. The cookout invites residents to the community center for an afternoon of food, live music and lawn games. Weekly programs include knitting nights and food pick-ups from sustainable organizations like Farmers to You and Cape Ann Fresh Catch, which supplies the community with fresh seafood from Gloucester.Lynch Park is also a destination for local festivals.
