Best-sellers, media resources and community events at Inglenook Library

The Inglenook Branch of the Birmingham Public Library has become an integral part of the community since undergoing extensive renovations in 2015. Cauthen describes the library as more than just community resource center saying, "a lot of locals hang out at the library for fun." In addition to its impressive collection of books and a long list of digital resources, Inglenook's library hosts weekly trivia nights and monthly pop-up exhibits. Locals can get some fresh air and exercise at Inglenook Park. While kids shoot hoops on the basketball courts, parents can watch from the park’s loop walking track. After school, elementary students walk across the street to climb on the tall slide towers at Inglenook Playground.
