The neighborhood’s median home price is $481,500, down 4% from the previous year.

Hawthorne ballers shoot hoops and organize pickup games at Walt Bittner Park on Rave Road. On Baywood Road, Eagle View Park also offers basketball courts and gives baseball fans a place to play and practice.
