"Everyone who has kids wants to live west of 441 — that's where some of the best schools in the city are," Vimini says. Just south, Sunrise Park Elementary School and Eagle's Landing Middle School serve this area, earning overall A-minus gradesfrom Niche. Niche gives Olympic Heights Community High School an A and ranks it the No. 10 public high school in Palm Beach County. There, teens can train for careers in culinary arts, early childhood education, engineering and technology, finance and hospitality.

Boca's renowned shopping and dining scene reaches the city's west side. The Glades Road commercial corridor is about 3 miles south with grocery stores, big box stores and health food chains. Publix, Sprouts, Fresh Market and Whole Foods are all within reach. Carmela Coffee is a highly-rated spot serving lattes and healthy breakfast and brunch options all day, including sandwiches, toasts and bowls. For luxury stores and high-end restaurants, locals head downtown. "If you're going to do some serious shopping, you're going to the Town Center Mall.
