The community offers a range of housing options, including rental multifamily properties and single-family homes. Sidewalk-lined roads make it easy for residents to go for a morning jog or walk with their pets, and many of the streets end in cul-de-sacs that reduce through traffic. The neighborhood is broken into several subdivisions, including condominium communities and mobile home parks. Families have access to A-rated schools and academic pathways

Many highly rated schools in the Northshore School District are very close to the neighborhood. Some students can walk to Woodmoor Elementary School, home of the Dolphins. Students at Woodmoor have several enrichment activities at their fingertips, including band, orchestra and cross country. Students will then attend Northshore Middle School and Inglemoor High School afterward. Inglemoor High has an A rating from Niche, boasting a 96 percent graduation rate in its recent 2021-2022 class.
