Suburban homes settled on manicured lawns
Valley Unit has several condos, bungalows, Craftsmans and ranch-style houses. Homes sit behind narrow sidewalks with large swaths of manicured lawns, and they are separated by private driveways. Vaulted ceilings, distinct triangular roofs and dormer windows are common design features. "Homes are a bit newer and more contemporary, and some of them lean toward the cookie-cutter look," Gustafson says. Costs for a single-family home range between $484,000 to $940,000, and properties will typically spend 25 days on the market before selling.
