Well-maintained midcentury-inspired homes with approachable rpices
The area has about half a dozen ponds, often creating a modest waterfront view. Well-maintained streets pass quarter-acre lots dotted with sugar maples and evergreen trees. Attached two-car garages are standard, with driveways to match. Average home values hover around the low $300,000s, lower than the national and Minneapolis-area averages. Ranch-style and split-level homes, frequently with brick accents and finished basements, comprise most real estate. “You don’t have to put a lot extra into the homes,” says Yarbo, who’s served the area for 12 years. “And when you do, they just need a little lipstick.” Prices range from the mid-$200,000s to the low $400,000s, depending on size and location.
Norwood features bright ranch-style homes with large windows and simple lines.
Norwood has many split-level homes with brick foundations and modern windows.
