Cozy charm and traditional style
The rural and tranquil Cambria neighborhood, which is in the Revloc area of Pennsylvania, is steeped in history and community spirit. "Cambria offers a really cozy, really charming suburban lifestyle, complete with good schools and everything," says Hunter Ott, real estate agent with Howard Hanna Bardell and longtime resident of the area. "It's cheaper than most of the nearby areas that offer the same access too - so it's especially appealing." Situated near the intersections of US Routes 422 and 219, Revloc is 2 miles west of the borough of Ebensburg, providing easy access to local amenities while maintaining a quiet, small-town feel.

Vintage homes with loving renovations
Revloc was founded as a coal town for miners in 1917. Many of the homes here were built in the early to mid-20th century and are traditional in nature, including National style, ranch-style and split-level ranging from $80,000 to $200,000. Larger, more modern homes that often include significant acreage can go for $500,000 or more. "The prices are cheaper, but the homes are just as nice," says Ott. "People are starting to realize the value, too. We're seeing folks renovate the traditional homes and flip them as really cool modern renovations."
