Its outdoor recreation, community programs and marina make it a neighborhood staple.“The fishing there is a big deal, and the nature trails are absolutely gorgeous,” says Laura Martin, a real estate broker with Find Home Realty and Perry High School alumna, adding the park's wildlife center is also an interesting place to visit. Less than a mile north is the Brookside Country Club, established in 1922 and home to a golf course ranked among America’s Top 100 Classic Courses. Brookside members can also enjoy an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a poolside cafe and a fitness center with licensed personal trainers. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is less than 4 miles east of the neighborhood and just down the street is the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum, an institution dedicated to the legacy of the 25th president, who was an Ohioan.
