Southwest Association of Neighbors filled with minimal traditional homes
Single family houses from the 20th century are at the front of grassy lawns and are close to sidewalks bordering the roads that lead to covered porches where neighbors sit outside and watch the world go by. Some yards are decorated with small bushes and trees. Colorful minimal traditional homes are common, although bungalows and Queen Anne inspired homes also accentuate the neighborhood. Prices tend to fall between $45,000 and $100,000.Canton honors First Ladies

There are also swing sets, a baseball field and a basketball court where people can get their energy out.The eastern part of the neighborhood is home to a couple of museums. The Canton Classic Car Museum, founded in 1978, has an exhibit of over 40 antique cars. “It’s more than a car museum; we have a lot of memorabilia on display,” says Gary Hussar, a lifetime resident of Canton who has worked with the museum for 14 years. This memorabilia includes a room dedicated to the history of the city. The National First Ladies Library & Museum has programs and exhibits educating visitors on the lives and responsibilities of first ladies.
