Some communities feature streets lined with contemporary Mission Revival homes known for their stucco facades, intricate tilework and arched doorways and windows, while others offer cozy ranch homes and a quintessential, midcentury appeal. As you head into the rural outskirts, you’ll find homes, estates and farmhouses on large lots with plenty of privacy. “There’s a mix of beautiful, rustic homes and equestrian properties near the mountains, as well as planned communities,” says Realtor Holly Thompson of Re/Max Realty.
