A quiet, unassuming village outside Moline, Carbon Cliff is a popular bedroom community for folks working in the city. There aren't many attractions in the village itself, but it is conveniently located with respect to major roadways. Getting around the Quad Cities
The neighborhood has decent bus access, with stops for the Quad Cities MetroLINK on U.S. Route 84, which runs directly through the neighborhood. It's also easy to hop on U.S. Routes 5 and 92 via an exit just outside the neighborhood, making it simple to get into Moline and its attractions and amenities, like the Quad Cities International Airport.

For a bite to eat, locals usually head to 11th Hour Bar & Grill. Its sleek, modern interior pairs well with the friendly vibe. It's a popular spot to catch the game, order a burger and throw back a couple of beers with friends. Residents also enjoy Deerfield Restaurant. This local favorite serves breakfast all day and has an interior that draws inspiration from 1990s diners, with a long bar where patrons sip coffee and sit in leather swivel chairs. Visually, neutral green and beige tones define the restaurant. To load up on supplies for the week ahead, Walmart is a handy resource for daily essentials and groceries. Aldi is also popular with residents.

Grass underfoot at Carbon Cliff Park
Carbon Cliff Park is the place to be on a sunny afternoon. It's got a baseball field, playground and a small pond to enjoy. The park is all green fields and offers the community a place for recreation that is minutes from most front doors in the area. Mansur Woods is another park in the neighborhood, and while it's a simple pair of fields near an apartment complex, it's ideal for residents to go and throw a frisbee around.

Sports at the local high school
The area's youngest learners start their educational journey at Eagle Ridge Elementary, which has a C-plus rating on Niche and continue at C-rated Glenview Middle School. Students finish their secondary academic journey at United Township High School, which has a B rating and is particularly known for its sports teams. It's common to see the community come out on game night to support the team.
