Avondale residents enjoy quick access to grocery essentials at Harris Teeter. The grocery store sits in the St. Andrews center, which features a variety of stores and other options for dining. Just a mile away is a Whole Foods Market for additional options.
The Charleston Farmers Market is one of the most popular features of the region, and for Avondale residents, a branch of the market extends into West Ashley.
The West Ashley Farmers Market is held right at home in Ackerman Park, requiring only a short walk for most residents. Patrons enjoy locally sourced goods, live entertainment and a range of activities.
