"It's a very active community," Perez says. She mentions the Murray Path, which has become "well-traveled" by bikers and walkers following its recent renovation. Perez adds that "it will eventually be connected to the Wasson Way Trail" that passes through multiple Cincinnati neighborhoods. But people here don't have to head outside their community to spend time outside. Locals practice their shots at Bramble Park's vibrantly painted basketball court, while the Madisonville Recreation Center's tennis courts make for a great workout. During the warmer months, the Madisonville Pool fills with community members ready to jump in the water to escape the summer heat. For other activities, locals can purchase a Hyde Park Golf and Country Club membership or head to the nearby Ault Park — known for its weeping cherry blossoms.
