Sumner is a quiet neighborhood in a great location
Sumner is a small residential neighborhood in west Claremont. Bracketed to the north by Foothill Freeway and to the south by Foothill Boulevard, Claremont’s main retail corridor, residents of the neighborhood enjoy easy access to commuting routes and shopping. “Convenient is probably the first word I’d use,” says real estate advisor and Claremont native Ben Nance of Sotheby’s International. “You’ve got modern shopping centers on the south side, it’s easy to get around town, and you’re not too far from the mountains if you want to go hiking. It’s a very balanced neighborhood.”
