The community features a diverse mix of styles, including contemporary customs built in the 1980s, midcentury-modern, ranch-style and cottage-style, some of which date back to 1920. Some sections of the neighborhood have sidewalks, but overall walkability is limited. Prices prange from the low $200,000s to the high $400,000s. Despite being located close to the Gulf Coast, the risk of flooding is minimal. However, wind damage is a significant risk during hurricane season, which runs from May through November.
