Blues and jazz in Gahanna
For 25 years, Gahanna has hosted the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival, inviting people from across the Columbus area to come enjoy live music in June. From June to September, the town hosts a farmers’ market every Wednesday, where visitors can find local produce and other goods, from meats to jams, honey and tea. Easton Town Center also hosts many local events for residents, like a movie night series with a giant screen in the summertime, playing family-friendly favorites for attendees.

Somerset residents can get around northeast Columbus on the buses that stop around the neighborhood. The number 7 bus stops along Stelzer and Agler Roads, while the number 23 is also available on Stelzer Road. Along Sunbury Road, residents can catch the number 9 or number 31 buses. John Glenn Columbus International Airport is only 2 miles away, accessible by the Stelzer Road buses. I-270 makes up the neighborhood’s eastern border, connecting it to the airport. I-670 is to the south, linking residents to downtown. Mount Carmel East is 7 miles south.
