Just outside the suburb of Worthington, Worthingview is filled with people who want the conveniences of their bigger neighbor at a lower price and a quieter vibe. The neighborhood is compact, neatly landscaped and zoned for some of the area’s strongest public schools. Its place on the Outerbelt makes it easy to reach job centers, shopping areas and green spaces. With its calm, tree-shaded streets, this community has a reputation for tranquility right around the corner from the busier side of Columbus.
Worthingview is a small neighborhood north of downtown Columbus.

Bigger floor plans with values lower than Stilson and Olentangy Highla
Homes here are on the larger side, well above the national average in square footage. Most lots are just under a quarter-acre with manicured lawns and foliage, and houses often have bonuses like decks and unfinished basements. You’ll mostly see two-story New Traditional designs here, typically selling anywhere from the low $300,000s to the mid-$500,000s. The median price for a single-family home in Worthingview is in the low $500,000s, higher than Brookside Village next door, but lower than nearby spots like Stilson, Antrim and Olentangy Highlands. This area also has Columbus property taxes, adding even more value to the area. “These are more affordable suburbs in northern Columbus,” says Chris Shea, a Realtor with Keller Williams Consultants Realty. “You get Worthington amenities with lower taxes.”

Local schools earn high marks on the Ohio Report Card
Local kids attend the highly ranked Worthington City School District, which Niche lists as one of the top 10 school districts in the Columbus area. The district recently earned a four-star rating on the 2024–2025 Ohio School Report Card, highlighting its strong performance across achievement, progress, literacy and college-prep. Every spring, the Worthington Kilbourne High School holds its Arts in Action competition, where students show off their photography, paintings and sculptures.

Outdoor spaces with sports fields, play areas and riverside paths
Just south of the neighborhood, Perry Park has multiple ball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas and walking paths that connect to nearby Snouffer Park, which has a sand volleyball court and baseball diamond. Olentangy Parklands offers a scenic, multi-use riverside trail with shaded pathways, playgrounds and access to biking, jogging, and kayaking along the Olentangy River.

Highway access puts much of the metro area within easy reach
Interstate 270 is Worthingview’s north border, leading to state Route 315 right around the corner. This puts most of the metro area’s biggest job sites easily within reach, like downtown Columbus and New Albany, both of which are within 15 miles. Worthington is right next door, while Dublin and Westerville are less than 8 miles away. The neighborhood itself is almost entirely connected with sidewalks and calm streets, making it very walkable. However, most errands will require a car.
Grocery stores, big‑box shops and a local cinema nearby
The Shops at Worthington Place is just a couple of miles away, and features familiar franchises like Kroger, Tablots and Club Pilates. Locals also head northeast of here to catch a movie at Marcus Crosswoods Cinema. A variety of shopping options surround state Route 161 about 3 miles away, including big-box stores like Target and grocery stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
