Local restaurants in Commerce City include El Jardin Restaurant, a popular spot for Mexican cuisine, and the aforementioned Bison Grill – known for its green chili nachos and laidback atmosphere. “Things have really started to pop up in Commerce City, even though I can remember a time when it didn’t even have a King Soopers,” says Lawrence. “Now, it has just about everything you need – and you can get what it doesn’t have with a quick trip to the Reunion area, Aurora or Denver.”
