Most single-family homes in Concord feature brick or vinyl exteriors and were built between the 1950s and 1980s. Residential streets are densely populated with a mix of ranch-style, split-level and colonial revival homes and feature an average sales price of around $350,000. Below I-255, homes tend to sit on larger lots with up to an acre of land. “There are a few pockets of custom-built and higher-end homes,” Barger says. Homebuyers in these areas can find four-bedroom new traditional homes starting at about $450,000.

Children in the area attend the Lindbergh Public School District, which earned an A from Niche and has an average student-teacher ratio of 16-to-1. Younger kids in grades K-5 attend Dressel Elementary School before moving on to Sperreng Middle School, which both earned a grade of B-plus. I-55 and I-255 intersect in the northwestern corner of the community, making it easier to traverse the 16 miles to Downtown St. Louis.
