Friday nights in Conshy are always a good time. Soliman says the community “offers great restaurants, bars and an exciting nightlife for all the young professionals that live in Conshohocken.” After a long work week, The Great American Pub on Fayette Street is the perfect spot to catch up with friends over a cold beer and half-priced appetizers. Saturday game days are spent down the street at Flanigan’s Boathouse and celebrated afterward with a cocktail at the Gypsy Saloon. On Sunday mornings, locals can order a delicious omelet from Nudy’s Café, a Conshy staple since 1979. While the White Marsh Shopping Center offers conventional groceries at the Giant Food Store, most locals stop by Lee’s Produce Market on the way back into town for homegrown fruits and vegetables.

Annual events all year long on Fayette Street
Patrick’s Day is a huge celebration in Conshohocken, with a parade down Fayette Street and plenty of restaurants serving Irish-themed specials. On the Fourth of July, the annual Soap Box Derby draws families from all over to watch the youth racers compete on Fayette Street. Families crowd this busy street during the annual Conshohocken Fun Fest. A morning 5k run may kick off this massive event, but family activities, live entertainment, and good food are also available for anyone to enjoy.

City commuters take SEPTA buses to and from work
Most commuters take public buses or hop on the SEPTA Regional Rail Line at the Conshohocken Station to get into the city. Car drivers can follow Fayette Street to Interstate 76 and access Center City in about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Interstate 476 separates Conshy’s residential streets from the northern industrial plants and connects to the Philadelphia International Airport in about 30 minutes.
