Charming downtown community outside Center City
Conshohocken, lovingly referred to by locals as “Conshy,” is a vibrant community with a downtown restaurant scene and some of the best schools in Montgomery County. While Center City is only 15 miles down the road, “Conshohocken has its own little downtown with dozens of popular bars and restaurants within walking distance,” says Sharyn Soliman, an expert local Realtor at Keller Williams Real Estate. While some residents take the train to Center City for work, Soliman says, “The [community] has become a popular place for young professionals to live with the large corporate businesses being built along the Schuylkill River.”
