Dos Lagos' Mediterranean and Spanish-style houses, condos and townhouses were built between 2004 and 2010 and are set within subdivisions that overlook the golf course and Temescal Valley's rolling hills. Community amenities include a pool, clubhouse and playground, and homeowners association fees range from $160 to $350 a month, depending on the subdivision. The gated Temescal Heights community features 2,500- to 3,700-square-foot homes priced between $1 million and $1.5 million, while the non-gated Citrus Springs subdivision has three- and four-bedroom homes with two-car garages, priced between $600,000 and $650,000. Condos and townhomes are available for $650,000 to $700,000, offering three- and four-bedroom options. The gated, 55-plus Owen's Cove community has 1,500- to 1,700-square-foot townhomes. At Dos Lagos Park, just in front of The Shops, folks can walk across an ornate bamboo bridge to see geese and fish in the lakes. Dining options include Wood Ranch, a regional chain well known for its savory BBQ and happy-hour deals, and Taps Brewery, which has Sunday brunch specials and offers local beers paired with sushi and Cajun seafood. Residents can grocery shop at Trader Joe’s and catch a new movie at the Starlight Dos Lagos Luxury 15 Theaters.
