Popular eateries include Soirée Coffee Bar for its Sunday Brunch with live music, and Beto & Son, a father-and-son-run Mexican eatery.A grocery run can be easily handled at small independents like Cox Farms Market on Fort Worth Avenue, and for a larger selection, there’s an Aldi, located just south of West Dallas on the same road.
West Dallas’ curb appeal

Compact fenced-in lots typically rest along walkable sidewalk-lined streets.Home prices start in the low-$200,000s for small fixer-uppers and can run well over $1 million for a sprawling new build. How quickly homes can vary wildly depending on price, condition, location and sought-after amenities like garages that help keep cars cool in the Texas heat. “The average days-on-market is 66 and that’s because there’s such a wide price range,” Knox says.
