Timbercreek is a golf community close to commercial centers and schools
Residents of Timbercreek don’t have to go far to find what they seek. The Daphne, Alabama, subdivision has more than 800 large homes with manicured lawns, and people often spend their days enjoying the community’s amenities, which include TimberCreek Golf Club. The neighborhood sits close to several commercial centers and highly rated schools. “This is a golf course community, but people can also walk to nearby shopping centers because they’re right across the street,” says Kate Irvine, a Realtor with Bellator Real Estate. The area is also close enough to Mobile for residents to commute or explore the city at their convenience.

Diverse houses that retain resale value and sit along walkable streets
The neighborhood has a mix of housing styles, and homes sit along wide streets flanked by sidewalks on both sides. Lawns are kept short, and many yards have trees and small bushes. The community is built around cul-de-sacs which also have plants in the center of their circles. New Traditional homes can range from $425,000 to $525,000, while older brick houses can go from $410,000 to $640,000. Custom-built properties often sell for between $630,000 and $1 million. In all cases, residences near TimberCreek Golf Club tend to be more expensive. “A lot of folks coming from out of town are looking for a five-year house, so they like the good resale value here,” Irvine says. Timbercreek has annual POA dues of $1,000, with $500 due by Jan. 1 and July 1 of each year. Any changes to home exteriors, including landscape alterations, must be approved by the POA’s architectural review board. The area has a CAP Index crime score of 1 out of 10, well below the national average of 4.
