The Bridges offers country club living and convenience

The Bridges is a unique gated community compared to many of its Delray Beach neighbors. GL Homes designed The Bridges to have a country club feel, including amenities like a large clubhouse, without living near a golf course. Liran and Lauren Tzadik are Realtors with LT Luxury Homes Group at Charles Rutenberg Realty Fort Lauderdale who know the ins and outs of the area. “The Bridges is GL’s first neighborhood in the west Delray Beach-Boca Raton area, offering a country club lifestyle without the fees,” says Lauren Tzadik. “It’s an established community of 591 homes. The Bridges offers a wealth of amenities without an equity buy-in. ... It’s a very warm and friendly neighborhood with many long-term residents. Neighbors come together and socialize through a variety of theme, holiday and restaurant events.” Residents can walk down paved sidewalks to hang out at the clubhouse, but when they want to explore what’s outside the gates, there are shopping destinations and restaurants within a 20-minute drive. The Bridges set the standard for amenity-rich living without sacrificing convenience.

Mediterranean homes with views

The Bridges features subdivisions full of Mediterranean-style homes that range in price from $1 million to around $4 million. “The community was built between 2012 and 2017,” says Liran Tzadik. “It provides luxury community features, with Mediterranean-style homes offering a variety of three-to-six-bedroom layouts. The homes range from 2,500 square feet to 7,500 square feet, and they’re surrounded by mature, lush landscaping and beautiful lakes and water views.” While many homes have views of the lakes, some have garden views of the trees that create a privacy barrier for the community. Sidewalks line the streets, creating a path for morning joggers and anyone who wants to walk or bike to the clubhouse. Residents pay HOA fees that go toward maintaining the clubhouse, the grounds and 24-hour security.

The Bridges' clubhouse is a social destination

Lauren Tzadik highlights all the amenities that are steps away from homes, like the “... 17,000 square foot clubhouse with a newly renovated resort-style pool with shaded cabanas and a children’s splash pad, newly remodeled restaurants, six Har-Tru tennis courts, an active tennis program, four pickleball courts, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor basketball, a social lounge and more. With so many activities and amenities, people have everything they could want right in their own community.” Tennis players can visit the pro shop before hitting the courts, and the racquet center director organizes clinics and private lessons. The clubhouse also hosts family-friendly events, like kids’ movie nights and outdoor concerts. If residents want a change of pace, they might drive 20 minutes to Delray Beach’s public shores for a day of relaxing near the ocean.

Florida Turnpike access and brief commutes to downtown scenes

Residents have amenities steps away, but there are more options a short drive from home in central Delray Beach and Boca Raton. “The Bridges is located 20 minutes from downtown Delray Beach, which encompasses several blocks of shopping, art and dining, punctuated by the beach at the end of the Ave,” Lauren Tzadik says. The Florida Turnpike is near the neighborhood, making it easy to reach the Palm Beach International Airport, 25 miles north, or the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, around 35 miles south. The Bridges is also about halfway between the Delray Medical Center and the Bethesda Hospital West, both options for emergency care.

Dining at GG's and short trips to shops

Among the clubhouse’s many features is the private restaurant, GG’s. Liran and Lauren mention the restaurant has been renovated and features indoor and outdoor seating. GG's serves brunch, lunch and dinner, with a patio bar and poolside service. The menu features a range of items, from salads and sandwiches to sushi and poke bowls. When residents want to shop, they can drive downtown to visit the Town Center of Boca Raton, which has over 200 stores and restaurants. The nearby Delray Marketplace is a center with a Publix Supermarket for groceries, restaurants and boutique clothing stores.

The Bridges is zoned for highly rated schools

The Bridges is part of the Palm Beach County School District, which earns an A-minus from Niche. The Whispering Pines Elementary School receives a B-plus and feeds into Eagle Landing Middle School, rated A-minus. The A-rated Olympic Heights Community High School, like many schools across the district, offers in-house programs students can apply to attend, including Culinary Arts and Early Childhood Teacher Education.
