Private golf and beach club access in picturesque Delray Beach
With exclusive golf and beach club access, The Hamlet combines the best of the Delray Beach lifestyle, according to Geoff Braboy, Realtor with Compass in Delray and former resident. This is a luxury, manned-gate community with optional memberships for both amenities, saving residents initiation fees. As the sun rises and sets over the fairways and the mature banyan trees, golfers and non-golfers alike appreciate their picturesque surroundings, according to Braboy. "As you're driving through the golf course and the sun is coming down through the trees, it's a really unique aspect of life you can't typically get in Delray," he says.
Spacious open concepts and sleek, modern interiors
Luxury modern homes overlook the golf course, usually with sprawling, single-story layouts that allow for spacious open concepts. The wide, open interiors typically have a sleek, modern design with white walls, exposed beams and marble countertops. Prices range from around $1.2 million to $5 million, depending on size, which ranges from around 2,000 to about 5,000 square feet. "You get a better price per square foot than you do farther east in Delray while still being just a quick 5- to 10-minute drive downtown," Braboy says. Residents are primed for hurricanes from early June through late November, but this neighborhood has a low flood risk.
Many single family homes in The Hamlet neighborhood offer manicured lawns and lush landscaping.

Beach and golf lovers get the best of both worlds
Residents can choose between optional beach club, golf club, or bundled memberships. The neighborhood is about 4 miles from the water. "You get the best of both worlds if you like the beach and golf," Braboy says. "It's a unique aspect you can't get with any other club: usually you get a one or the other." The 18-hole golf course underwent a $14 million redesign in 2023, incorporating tree-lined fairways, practice facilities and enhanced water hazards to add an extra challenge. The Seagate, one of three similar clubs in Delray, features beach access, a saltwater swimming pool, childcare services, and beachside food and beverage service.

Barbecues, parties and tournaments at the golf club
Holiday celebrations are a highlight at the golf club. The recent renovations added space for neighborhood gatherings. "They added this large, covered portion at the back of the club, which is great for events," Braboy says. The festivities include a New Year's party, Fourth of July cookout and Veteran's Day golf tournament.
