Once known as Stapleton, Central Park is a neighborhood built for recreation, offering 50 community green spaces, pocket parks, ponds and a nature trail network. Community gardens are scattered throughout the green spaces, and events on the lawn encourage a tight-knit community with a population of 30,000. With plenty of retailers, restaurants and exceptional schools, Central Park is a newer neighborhood with convenience and luxury.

Architectural variety
Central Park is home to various forms of stunning architecture. New traditional and contemporary styles are part of recent developments. While Denver squares, craftsman and Georgian homes sitting on park lots are also available, and many homes have Victorian and Tudor era influence. “What I love about the residential areas in Central Park is that it’s a very diverse housing stock,” says Amy Cesario, a Denver native and Broker Associate at Compass Colorado with 25 years of experience. “There are smaller houses, larger houses, some houses that look like old Victorian and some are the new modern, sleek look, but it was all done by one planned developer. I love that they brought in different builders to make this neighborhood feel as unique as some of the inner-city neighborhoods.” Most construction occurred around 2006, and residential areas are still in development. Prices for single-family homes range from $800,000 to upwards of $1.4 million. The average sale price over the last 12 months is $856,847. Given how desirable this location is, homes sell within 35 days, compared to the national average of 42 days.
Many homes in Central Park were developed in the 21st century and have a modern look.
