Many homes in Ravendale are brick bungalows or Tudor-inspired cottages with steep-pitched roofs. Houses often have a small front step, but some have larger porches where residents often set up rocking chairs. There are a few larger Colonial Revival homes in the neighborhood as well. Most houses have driveways, but garages are rare. Sidewalks line the community streets, providing walkability through the area. A few roads in the neighborhood are lined with mature trees on either side, adding plenty of shade and natural beauty.
