Post World War II housing with modern styles available
Moore says, “Home sizes are larger in Doraville as opposed to Atlanta, but you’re seeing more townhouse developments there now.” Most homes in Doraville were built after World War II, during a construction boom spurred by the development of a General Motors assembly plant. Home styles reflect the popular architecture of that era: Homebuyers will find lots of bungalows and ranches beside more recent two-story New Traditional builds. Single-family properties in Doraville range from $200,000 to over $500,000, varying by the lot size and square footage.
