Charming community with a rich history

Havertown is a leafy suburban neighborhood brimming with parks and historic buildings. Located in Haverford Township, the rich history of this unincorporated community began with its 1681 founding. Many homes and other structures dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries still stand, blending in nicely with newer buildings. “People love the neighborhood,” says Realtor Lori Rufo of Keller Williams Main Line-Ardmore, who has lived in the area her entire life. “There’s such a sense of community here. And it’s so walkable. There’s a walking trail and a bike path. People walk to restaurants, and kids can walk to school. Everyone looks after each other, and we have a wonderful police department.” Havertown has a low CAP Index crime score of 2/10.
