Often referred to as “The Gateway to the Hill Country,” Dripping Springs is a fast-growing community situated approximately 25 miles west of Austin. With its mix of urban and rural living, Dripping Springs is home to a variety of cultural, natural and artistic offerings. Whether it’s indulging in afternoon high tea at Tillie’s, exploring the natural wonders at Westcave or taking in a live music act at one of the city’s many entertainment venues, Dripping Springs residents are an active group. With Highway 290 running through the middle of town, Austin is just a quick trip away for commuters, students or those who want to visit the state capital. “I like to tell people that one of the great things about Dripping Springs is that you can turn left and be in Austin in half an hour or turn right and be in the country in half an hour,” says Realtor and Dripping Springs resident Betsy Smith. The Ally Medical Emergency Room is also located on 290, and the Austin-Bergrstrom International Airport is about 30 miles away. Because of its rural nature, Dripping Springs is a heavily car-dependent area, as there is no rapid transit system in the area. Walkability depends on the specific area of town, as sidewalks are not prevalent throughout the entire area.

Jonny Wells is one of Austin’s premier realtors, and a top 1% producer nationwide. Since 2017, he’s made waves in nearly every domain of Real Estate. Starting as an investor and developer, he’s scored profits with every project commenced through his holding company. In 2018, Jonny was Rookie of the Year at a Billion-dollar brokerage, selling over $12 million in residential real estate his first year — part-time — while exiting his Medical Device business, and building his real estate investment portfolio. Since then, Jonny has established himself as a Top 1% agent and has gone on to build a Luxury Real Estate Team, Revel Property Group.
A bit more about Jonny from his own perspective: “I’ve always struggled in referring to myself as just a Realtor. I’m a dealmaker and a professional. There’s so much more to honoring the service my clients deserve, and the expertise their most valuable assets demand than just taking photos and putting a sign in the yard. I seek to create a beautiful experience throughout while executing at the highest level to create big wins for my clients, financially and experientially. Accountability and execution are at the core of everything I do. I formerly ran one of the largest Orthopaedic Medical Device and Capital Equipment sales territories in the state – negotiating multi-million-dollar, multi-year contracts in the executives’ suite with the largest hospital systems in the country. The stakes were always high. Execution was paramount, and excuses had no place. Today, I serve my clients with the same dedication and relentless commitment to excellence. I believe in earning your business every day and I stand ready to guarantee my performance with every engagement."
GIVING BACK Jonny is a Certified Executive Coach and is proud to give back through volunteering as an Executive Coach for The Honor Foundation, serving retiring special forces operators in forging their next mission in civilian life.
