Several communities with vibrant commercial corridors – including East Dundee, West Dundee and Sleepy Hollow – hug the scenic Fox River within the Dundee Township. About 50 miles northwest of Chicago, this riverside region has charisma to spare, with housing diversity, a festive downtown scene and access to numerous communal green spaces. “The region already has so much to offer, with the historic homes and small-town charm, but another benefit is the commuter aspect,” says Jenny Jones, Broker Associate and Team Manager for the Jones Team. “It’s 45 minutes from O’Hare Airport, close by I-90 to help you get into the city as needed and our main thoroughfare Route 31 takes you through dozens of other towns. Living here gives you the best of both worlds. City amenities, in a quaint community.”
