Edgar offers rural living in the shadow of the White Mountains
Eager is a rural town of about 5,000 people located at the foothills of the White Mountains. Once home to the Apache people, this northeastern Arizona community is known for its outdoor and recreation access. Located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Eager is central to many fishing lakes and streams, equestrian and hiking trails, ski and camp areas. “It’s a nice and quiet community,” says Dawna Ruiz, who is a Realtor at West USA Realty with over 10 years of experience. “People come here for the cooler weather and for the slow pace of living.”
