Eastlawn Gardens offers Comfortable suburban living in Nazareth
Eastlawn Gardens is a suburban neighborhood with traditional homes, community playgrounds and top-rated schools in the heart of the Lehigh Valley. “There’s a hometown feel where you know your neighbors and kids play together on the street,” says Mark Lutz, a Realtor with Re/Max Unlimited Real Estate with over 22 years of experience. “It’s got that American story where everyone wants to live on that picturesque street.” Situated on the eastern side of the Borough of Nazareth, residents are minutes from Route 33 and about 80 miles from both Philadelphia and New York City.

Traditional, single-family homes from many decades line quiet streets
Mature trees shade the neighborhood’s wide streets, but Eastlawn Gardens does not have sidewalks. Most single-family homes were built throughout the second half of the 20th century and sit on quarter-to-half-acre lots, with corner lots offering residents more space to enjoy the outdoors. Homebuyers can find traditional Cape Cod, Colonial Revival and ranch-style homes featuring attached or detached garages. Newer construction is also scattered throughout the neighborhood and includes new traditional homes built in the early 2000s. Prices range from about $235,00 for a three-bedroom Cape Cod to $605,000 for a newer four-bedroom Colonial Revival.

Restaurants line East Lawn Road, and grocery stores are in Nazareth
While Eastlawn Gardens is primarily residential, several restaurants sit in the center of the neighborhood along East Lawn Road. Zanette’s Nazareth Grill is a casual spot where locals can enjoy American classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If that isn’t enough, there are 24 soft-serve flavors for dessert. Down the street, Sicily Pizza & Restaurant serves Italian dishes in a homey environment, and Naz-O-Nut is a locally owned donut shop known for its sweet treats. East Lawn Road also connects residents to the commercial hub of downtown Nazareth. For groceries, Nazareth Plaza is about 2 miles south and includes a Giant.

Outdoor fun continues through the winter with sledding at the park
Eastlawn Gardens has two neighborhood playgrounds: Sycamore Park and Hillside Farms Playground. Sycamore Park sits in the northeastern corner of the community and features a basketball court and playset for kids to explore. Further west, Hillside Farms Playground includes a swing set, slides and climbing structures. Residents are also about a mile east of Nazareth Borough Park, which has a variety of sports courts, an off-leash dog park and a community pool. The western portion of the park features rolling hills, which are a popular spot for sledding on snowy days.
