Residential charm with scenic golf course views
Manicured golf course fairways and well-maintained homes on large lots are top-tier draws in Fairway Estates. But the appeal doesn't stop there. The neighborhood also has commuting convenience to major highways and proximity to downtown Edmond. "Fairway Estates is even more quiet and secluded than some northeast Edmond neighborhoods, with the golf course just around the corner," says Steve Reeser, a Realtor with Keller Williams Central Oklahoma. "The houses here are, by and large, traditional in style, but there are variations in design here that you don't see in other, newer developments," says Reeser.
Manicured fairways and large, well-kept lots draw buyers to Fairway Estates.

Traditional homes on oversized lots
Large, traditional-style homes built between the 1990s and early 2000s line the tranquil sidewalk-lined residential streets. Some Contemporary-style houses feature floor-to-ceiling windows and starkly contrasting exterior color palettes, while others feature Spanish-style red-tile roofs. Many homes sit on large lots, some stretching close to half an acre. Prices in Fairway Estates range from $350,000 and $500,000, on par with nearby neighborhoods in northeast Edmond.

Manicured greens at Kickingbird Golf Club
The Kickingbird Golf Club, Edmond's oldest and only municipal golf course, sits adjacent to the neighborhood, making it a large part of Fairway Estates' appeal. Homes along Outabounds Drive and Bay Hill Lane overlook the east side of the course, and it's not uncommon for residents to find stray golf balls in their backyards. "This is about as close to Kickingbird as you can get without living right on the golf course," says Realtor Alan VanHorn Jr. with Keller Williams Central Oklahoma. About 2 miles away, E.C. Hafer Park has several playgrounds as well as walking trails that encircle a duck pond.
