Elkhart residents who don’t live in Hayden might recognize the neighborhood as the westside home of one of the city’s three signature water towers. Those who do live in the neighborhood know Hayden for much more -- most notable, the family-friendly convenience provided by two schools and neighborhood namesake Hayden Park. “You’ll find a mix of bungalows and prairie-style homes alongside two-story residences, creating a visually appealing streetscape,” says Lucinda Lowe, Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. “Tree-lined sidewalks invite leisurely walks, enhancing the community’s walkability.”

However, these houses are built near a pair of key walkable assets — Mary Daly Elementary School and Hayden Park. Recent sales in Hayden range from $100,000 to $215,000.
