Driving along Corkscrew Road in Estero, Florida, it is common to see new developments and gated communities, including The Preserve at Corkscrew. Wildcat Run Golf and Country Club is an Arnold Palmer-designed course that underwent an $8 million renovation in 2022. Also nearby is Hertz Arena, which hosts concerts and is the home of the Florida Everblades hockey team.

Restaraunts can be found nearby on Corkscrew Road and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and includes a mix of chain and local spots. Mario’s of Estero is a sports bar that also serves brunch. Naples Flatbread Kitchen & Bar serves pizza and sandwiches and hosts weekly events. Several shopping centers are nearby, including the Miromar Outlets, which has multiple name-brand outlet stores. Meanwhile, grocery stores, including Publix and other big box stores, are further west along Corkscrew Road.
