It's a small and close community. The crime rate is very low. The summers are great with the bazaars and the parades. The community comes out and really backs the bazaars and participates in all the activities. People from other communities also come and enjoy the family atmosphere.

I live in a small town which I was born and raised in. I live here because my family does. It's quiet with low crime, however not much to do. I really do not see anything changing in the future.

We moved here a year ago and I really like Owatin for our children. We have nice neighbors and are close to shopping and such. There are some things like American Water prices that are more than an electric bill per month it is absolutely ridiculous and has to be illegal. We need water and it costs people 200-600 a month just for water. Some can not afford it and are threatened to have it shut off.
